How Councilors Vote Together
Analyze how City Councilors vote together. High agreement (green) suggests shared legislative priorities or coalition alignment, while low agreement (red) indicates frequent opposition on contested roll calls.
No Contested Votes Recorded
We haven't indexed enough contested roll call votes for the Overall pillar yet. Unanimous votes are excluded from this analysis.
How This Works
Agreement scores are calculated based on contested roll call votes only. Unanimous votes (where the Council is 13-0 or 12-0) are excluded to provide a more accurate representation of ideological and strategic divisions.
A score of 100% means two councilors voted exactly the same way on every contested docket in that category. A score of 0% means they were always on opposite sides of the division.
Note: Historical data may be incomplete for dockets where voice votes were used instead of roll calls.
