Resolution supporting residency requirement waiver for police department transfers

Resolution in support of waiving the residency requirement to allow for transfers from other municipalities to the Boston Police Department.
On motion of Councilor Flynn, the rules were suspended; the resolution was not adopted: yeas 3 (FitzGerald, Flynn, Murphy), nays 9 (Breadon, Culpepper, Durkan, Louijeune, Mejia, Pepén, Santana, Weber, Worrell), absent 1 (Coletta Zapata).
